Rentals
rates start at $9 per person for Tubes and
$25 per person for Canoes and Kayaks. All
rentals include Shuttle to and from the river, PFD and paddle. While all other rental operations charge much more
or trick you with prices that don’t even include a paddle (have you ever
heard the old expression Up The River without a paddle), we offer this
incredible rate based on our mission to encourage enjoyment of the
Chattahoochee river which we hope will encourage awareness of the resource
and foster stewardship. Be sure to read this entire page to ensure
you get all the information about the trips we provide, safety information
and videos, river charts and other information before you start the trip
booking process. We are able to provide these LOW priced trips
because of the logic (RiverEcoLogic) built into our web store that fills up a
shuttle run before opening up the next shuttle run. This approach to trips saves gas, wear and
tear on our vehicles and staff time.
For instance, the shuttle runs for kayak trips from Buford Dam to
Settles Bridge starts with the first shuttle run at 10 AM. Once that shuttle run is full, the 12 PM shuttle
opens up and after that the 2 PM shuttle (1400 hrs) and after that the 8 AM
shuttle and so on. Look at the Start Times
column in the grid below to see start times for all trips. Our long distance trips (Buford Dam to
McGinnis Ferry or any destination further downstream) optimize by day instead
of hour such that the Monday trip is filled before the Tuesday trip opens up
and so on. If the number of people you
are making the reservation for is more than the number of seats remaining on
a given shuttle, then the next shuttle time is opened up to accommodate the
larger group size. Another requirement
is that you complete the trip in the maximum time allotted for the trip (see
the Duration column). This way our
shuttle drivers can pick everyone up at the same time. We hope that you will appreciate this
copyright and patent pending logic (RiverEcoLogic) since it is saving the
earth’s resources and saving you money.
In order to apply the thirty percent (30%)
discount from booking on the web store you must enter the Promotional Code WEBSTORE
in Step #7, Confirmations, when
making your reservation online. Now you can still come in the day of a trip and do a
cash transaction but you will pay 30% more.
Also, walk in cash customers are placed on shuttles on a space
available basis which means people who make their reservation through the
RiverEcoLogic web store have a reserved seat.
One final note on walk in traffic is that you must be present for the
first shuttle of the day in order to be assured of a trip. Also, remember to carpool on your way up
to the Buford Dam Store. We have
limited parking spaces and you save gas and money while helping to reduce
ozone causing emissions that harm the environment. We do have offsite parking available but you
will be required to follow our shuttle van to drop your vehicles on the way
to the put in. This causes time delays
and inconveniences everyone. So,

shows the trips as links on the Chattahoochee River Map. This gives you an overview of the full
river course over which trips are offered and the distances involved with the
longer trips. This is a very neat
option for visualizing your trip planning. 3. Visit the main RiverEcoLogic web store to select
