BRS_Safety To ensure
the safety of our customers and in cooperation with the Corp of engineers we
do not allow passengers under the influence of drugs or alcohol on the
river. All coolers are subject to
inspection before they are loaded onto the Shuttle. Education
Video’s are available to view in the upstairs waiting area. These DVD’s demonstrate paddling techniques
as well as safety and self rescue for anyone on the river. If you are not familiar with paddling or
would like a refresher we recommend that you arrive 1 hour early to view
these DVD’s and ask any questions that you may have. Knowledge of paddling skills is required
for all persons going on the river.
Life Jackets are to be worn at all times by all passengers on the
river. Children under the age of 8 are
not allowed on the river and children 8-12 must be in the same boat with an
adult. We apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause but please understand that safety is our #1
